This one has yellow ears because its future owner wanted them to match the colour of the strip they were attached to, and she was lucky that I had a little extra yellow because the yellow sections of that self-patterning yarn were wider than the others.

(And now that I've finished with this batch of rainbow bunnies, I'm glad to be switching to less bright colours that don't tire my eyes so much).
