Spring on my balcony

For hettie_lz and anyone else who has a craving for spring.

We had two sunny days in a row, and the first of the hyacinths that grew on our balcony went into bloom:

And these two were bought already in bloom this year:

So beautiful, thank you! I do crave spring here :) It came early to Finland, but we have not got any green grass or flowers yet, and there is more snow on the forecast.

I'm glad you like them. :)

It's still too early fr hyacinths outside, but the ones that grow on our balcony are more sheltered, and of course the ones we bought this year weren't raised outside.

And it's too early for that apricot tree to be in bloom too, but at least we don't expect any more snow this month... I hope. I haven't managed to post any photos of the snow earlier this week yet.

You're at least a month ahead of us with Spring weather. Exquisite photos.

I love hyacinths - as much for the scent as for the blooms.

I love them too. :)

But that scent is overwhelming when the outside windows of the balcony (I don't know how to say it better in English) are closed for the night.

You're a week or so ahead of us. Winter has come roaring back this week with temps just above freezing and sleet in the morning.

Hey, a previously unspotted Lada in that last photo!
It's a wagon, too.

I'm curious.... how do Bulgarians refer to that type of car body?
In North America, we call them 'Wagons' but in the UK they're called 'Estate cars'.
I think the Germans call them "Kombis" the French use the term "Break". What would be your term?

And we had snow last Monday (hadn't managed to post them yet), but now spring is n full swing.

Our term is "kombi" (singular).
