The first rainbow bunny
So, I was asked to knit three rainbow-coloured bunnies, for my sins. :) And I had to make do with whatever yarns I can find locally (or have left at home), so it wasn’t easy to get the right colour combination.

The red yarn is some terribly old leftover acrylic thing we have at home, the same that I used to knit the red bunny. Here are the other yarns:

I discovered that the colours of the Alize yarn go in the opposite direction after the mostly white strip (which I cut off and saved for some other project), so I knitted the second square upside down.

That is fun!

LOL It would be much more fun if I had more patience with sewing them up.

They just keep getting cuter and cuter! :)

I agree, they are very cute. I like the way they have little red noses.

Thank you! :)

My mother also said that she liked it better if the bunny had a different-coloured nose. But I don't think I'll try that with every single bunny I make from now on. :)

It did not (yet - LJ tends not send me notifications until a few hours later), but I noticed your bunnies anyway. They are too cute not to notice! Great work, I especially like the way the colours change. I consider making 2 such bunnies for my children...

I'm glad you like them! :)

I'll finish the second rainbow bunny (the one that is the second square of knitting in the third photo) tomorrow or the day after. The problem is that I'm knitting it for an eccentric friend who wants a bunny with an elephant truck, so I have to figure out how to make the trunk.

Now I'm very curious what your bunnies will look like. :)

Cuuuute...I want one!

I'm glad you like it. :)

I would make you one, but I'm afraid the postage would be terribly expensive. Maybe you could make your own bunny? I know you are handy enough to sew it up if you have the patience.
I make the front legs like that woman in the video, which is slightly different from the schematic in the pdf of the pattern.
