This little book completed its epic travel from Russia to my home on Monday. :) It's a present from Ivan ivansim, postal expenses and all, for which I'm very grateful. He saved me a lot of logistics - and all the possible extra costs of paying from abroad and in a foreign currency.
It's The Jester's Cap by Daria Wilke villlka. Alas, there is no translation of the book into English... yet?
If you understand Russian, you can read a presentation of the book here and a pretty big excerpt from it here. There is also an interview with the author in English here.
And yes, I read a book for children or teenagers and I liked it. :P
So here is the envelope, addressed to me in a mix of Russian and Bulgarian. :) I've cropped out both addresses. His handwriting is very easy to read - if you are used to reading handwritten Cyrillic, of course. :P And yes, that's a lot of stamps. :)
It turned out that my nail polish was in just the right colour. ;)
